What if I lose my access code?
Contact us on WhatsApp or email with your booking details (name, phone number, and location) so we can verify it's you, and we'll issue a replacement code. Codes are also stored in the app if you're logged in, so you can look them up any time.
How secure are the lockers?
Each compartment opens only with a unique one-time code generated for that specific booking or delivery — there are no shared keys or master codes. Compartments are monitored via door sensors, and every open/close event is logged with a timestamp.
Can I extend my booking?
Yes — you can extend directly from the app before your booking window ends. If a package overstays past the free collection period, a small storage fee applies for the extra time, shown before you confirm.
Do I need to download the app to collect a delivery?
No. If someone sends a package to you, you just need the SMS code sent to your phone — enter it at the locker keypad or scan the QR code. The app is only needed if you want to book a locker yourself, send a package, or manage your V-Box wallet.
What happens if there's no power or network at the locker?
V-Box units are built to work without Wi-Fi, using cellular connectivity for SMS and code verification, and can queue transactions locally if connectivity briefly drops. If a unit ever goes offline for an extended period, our team is alerted automatically.
How do I pay?
Every booking, delivery, and send is paid straight from your V-Box wallet — no re-entering payment details each time. Top up your wallet anytime via M-Pesa, card, or bank.
Can I get money back for unused storage time?
Yes — if you release your locker early with more than 15 minutes still remaining on your booking, you get 50% cashback on the unused time, credited straight back to your wallet.
What if I need a refund?
If a booking or delivery didn't go as expected, reach out via WhatsApp or email and we'll review it — see our Refund Policy for details.
Can I track my delivery without logging in?
Yes — enter your order or tracking code in the app to see live status, no account needed. This works for senders checking on a delivery and recipients checking if their package has arrived.
Is V-Box live at my building yet?
We're currently onboarding our first pilot locations across Nairobi. Check the Locations page, or apply to host the first V-Box at your property.
